4. PHANDER LAKE

The Deosai National Park has Markhor, Himalayan ibex, Himalayan wolf, snow leopards, musk deer, red fox, Ladakh urial, and golden marmot along with birds like a falcon, golden eagle, sparrow-hawk, vulture, and many migratory birds. 

The best beautiful place in Pakistan; Deosai National Park located a very rich biodiversity place and most of its area is in Skardu, some in the Astore and Kharmang regions of Gilgit Baltistan Province of Pakistan. Some historians claim that the name of Deosai (which means Shadow of the Giant) is derived from famous Sufi poet Mian Muhammad Baksh’s world-renowned poem Saif al Malook while Balti people call it Ghbiarsa (means Summer’s Place) in their local language.

8. SHIMSHAL VALLEY

About three hours’ drive east from Passu in Gilgit, Shimshal is the largest and remote valley of Gilgit Baltistan that connects Pakistan with China. 

The people of Shimshal valley known as Wakhi and speak the Wakhi language and belong to the Ismaili Shia sect of Islam.
