One should beg Dua / Supplications for the safety of faith, health, wealth, long life, and security, (But standing away from passage).

Tawaf E Umrah & Idtebaa;

To carry out Tawaaf of Khana E Kaaba, one has to make ablution as a pre-condition, Talbiah is abandoned here. For men, there is Idtebaa (To open right shoulder) in the first three rounds of Tawaf. Remove the Ehram sheet from the right shoulder then pass it down the right arm and drape it over the left shoulder.

Prior to beginning Tawaf, take a standing position at the direction line of Hajr E Aswad / Facing Hajr E Aswad and make an intention / Ney’yat for Tawaf;

“O’Allah, I make an intention for the performance of Tawaf E Umrah’

Istaqbaal / Beginning of Tawaf;

After making the intention of Tawaf, make a standing position on the direct line of Hajr E Aswad / Facing Hajr E Aswad, raise both hands upto your earlobes and pronounce the following Takbeer;

Begnning of Tawaf Dua - How to Perform Umrah - طواف کرنے کی دعا

If access to Hajr E Aswad is convenient without pushing or hurting anybody, then you should kiss Hajr E Aswad, i.e. keeping both hands there on the walls first, then place your face down between the hands and comfortably perform kissing. This is Sunnah.

Ramal (Walking like Wrestlers Haughtily);

The walking-like wrestlers in Tawaf and in Ehram, which do follow Sa’yee are called Ramal. This is Sunnah and all men pilgrims should perform Ramal in the first three rounds of Tawaf. If Tawaf is performed by men without Ehram, then Ramal is not performed.

Position During Tawaf;

Having performed Istelaam, begin Tawaf anti-clockwise and in a way that, Khana E Kaaba is on your left side, with Ramal in the first three (3) rounds of Tawaf. The women pilgrims need not perform Ramal during Tawaf.

The last four (4) rounds of Tawaf are to be performed without Ramal. During Tawaf, a pilgrim should not show his chest or back to Khana E Kaba, as it is ruled Makruh Tahremi. For each completed round of Tawaf, the pilgrim should perform Istelaam, by standing in the same line as Hajr E Aswad.

Two Rakaat Naffl at Maqam E Ebraheem;

After completing Naffl at Maqam E Ibraheem, please move to the site of Zam Zam Well, quench your thirst in a standing position, and keep your face to Qibla Sharif. Then walk down the hill, towards Marwah Hill. There is no Idteba (Uncovering the right shoulder) in Sayee; hence it may be carried out without Ablution / Wudu. However, running between green lights/markings is Sunnah, but only for men. The women were disallowed to do running.

Arrival at Marwah / Umrah How to Perform;

By reaching Marwah, you have completed the first round of Sayee. Now turn your face to Qibla Shareef and make Supplications from the core of your heart. Then start the second round by walking back to Safa Hill, including running between green lights. Reaching Safa you would complete the second round.

Following the same way, up and down two hills, you would be completing a seventh round of Sayee, at Marwah Hill.

After the completion of Sayee, the pilgrims have to perform the last Wajib of Umrah. For men, it is Wajib to get their head/hairs shaved completely or shorten hairs uniformly (by the size of one-third of a hand finger). For women only shortening of hairs (from the whole head) of the size of one-third of a finger is necessary.

Alhamdo Lillah; with the performance of Halaq / Qasar your Umrah has been completed. You are now out of Ehram. Take a bath and wear normal / stitched clothes and continue your usual prayer.
